Hi, autumn season 🧡 Ending my trip memories to Rome with the last photo of delicious Italian pasta with seafood. 🦞 If you come to Italy, forget about your diet, imperfections, worries, stress, negative thoughts and feelings as well as people who don’t deserve to be in your life,… leave it all behind and enjoy the pure beauty of the eternal and incredible city – Rome. 🧡 The pre-last photos from my trip to Rome. This time sharing what I love, admire and what inspires me daily – art. ❤️ I’ve visited a very interesting National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, where I found works by famous painters as Cézanne, Degas, Duchamp, Giacometti, Kandinsky, Monet, Jackson Pollock, Rodin and Van Gogh. There were also some pieces of modern art, a bit art house style (check the last photo in this carousel). The location of the museum is near the Villa Borghese. Must-see is my advice if you come to Rome. Amore. Dinner time in Rome. ❤️‍🔥 Colosseum. 🧡 The largest ancient amphitheatre ever built, and is still the largest standing amphitheatre in the world today, despite its age. Impressed? I am truly. Founded nearly 1941 years ago. The Colosseum could hold an estimated 50,000 to 80,000 spectators at various points in its history. It was used for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles. Under the floor of the Colosseum was a labyrinth of rooms, hallways and cages where weapons were stored and animals and gladiators waited for their turn to perform. According to experts, around 400,000 gladiators were killed in Colosseum. I think the best we can be inspired about the greatness of Colosseum is by Proximo’s saying from the movie Gladiator: Rome is full of incredible fountains, wherever you go, turn right or left, and there is a true masterpiece, which you can admire without any entrance fees or masses of people. This is Rome, eternal city of beauty and glory. One of the most beautiful fountains in the world… ⛲️🦋 While staying in #Rome, visited many churches and basilicas. Inside them you can find a lot of paintings and sculptures created by famous artists. Some of the them were built around 4th century – just like visiting museums and the entrance is totally free. In some of basilicas showing a QR code with the vaccination is a requirement if you want to enter.
