Living Coral in Fashion

The Pantone Color Institute (PCI) highlighted the top seasonal runway color of 2019 year – THE LIVING CORAL. For around 20 years Pantone’s Color of the Year had impact on product development and purchasing decisions in different industries, such as fashion, furnishings, design and others. To choose the color of the year requires a lot of analyzes of trends, technologies, art and many other things, that have influence on us. So, what’s the main statement about the 2019 Pantone color?

PANTONE 16-1546 Living Coral emits the desired, familiar, and energizing aspects of color found in nature. In its glorious, yet unfortunately more elusive, display beneath the sea, this vivifying and effervescent color mesmerizes the eye and mind. Lying at the center of our naturally vivid and chromatic ecosystem, PANTONE Living Coral is evocative of how coral reefs provide shelter to a diverse kaleidoscope of color.

Nowadays the color of the living coral is very popular. Not to be mentioned that during the fashion seasons many designers presented really wonderful looks in this color (check the collection of Marc Jacobs). It might be said that the living coral is not for everyone. However, even some small details in this color will make you fashionable, for example bags, hairpins, belts, buttons, sneakers, shawl, sunglasses, etc. The living coral isn’t the easiest one to wear or to use. So, I thought that some inspirations might be useful for you, who read my blog.

You will find below 3 sections: fashion, makeup and interior. All are about how to wear and to use the color of the living coral. I hope this article will help you to adjust the trendy ‘19 Pantone color to your daily life. Time for experiments!
